SUMMARY
-
Although the world of independent film has moved onto the internet, there is still enormous value in the exposure and experience of the festival.
-
There is more to the festival submission than WithoutaBox. It's a great service but you have to drive the process and make your own decisions about your priorities.
-
Do not get caught up in the hype about deadlines. Plot out your submission strategy and stick to it. The costs are too high to go about it in a random fashion.
